using thiner picks might be easier but useing thicker sharper picks makes it sound powerfull. to play a power chord you need the use of two fingers, preferably the index and ring fingers. place your fingers on any fret, go a strig over and down two (make sure your pinky and middle figers dont touch the two stings you are useing).
